Lyrics are in my bedroom
Sitting on the floor
Written in the paper
Newspapers everyday tell the story
That I could try to tell with this pen in my hand
What’s the difference? What’s it matter?
No one cares. No one really listens.
No one can change the world with a vision of a saint.
It takes the efforts and desires of everyone involved.
By oneself it’s just wishful thinking.
With the effective leadership of a few people
This saint can become a flesh living reality.
Don’t limit the love.

TV lies
TV tells me that love is magic
TV tells me to love
TV tells me that life goes on
TV tells me to forget what I feel
and love what I don’t think is real
Screw TV’s lies
TV makes me forget about reality
TV tells me that we’re stuck in the past
TV says we’re moving forward
I think we’re just as bad as we ever were
Screw TV’s lies
TV tries to capture what happens
TV tries to suggest a better way
People don’t want to change
People are too lazy to improve society
People make me sick
People make me sick
I can’t say it enough
Some people make me sick

Does my anger make me a victim
Does it represent my life of anger
Does it make any sense
Why
Why would 2 kids shoot up their classmates
It’s not the music
It’s not the mosh pit
I’ve been in the pit
I’m writing the music
What it is is the hatred of being adolescent
of being a youth
of being pressured by life as a kid
$4 water $10 burrito
Garbage everywhere
Riots, Peace and Love
It takes a lifetime to fix the love broken after 2 days of peace
Hippies, Christians, Visionaries
WE ALL WANT UTOPIA
We all are escapist. The mosh pit. Heaven. Wealth.
We all want to escape the trouble of being youth
The trouble of being human. The trouble of being
criticized by everyone else who is just like us.

Cousins I did not know
A place normally I would not go
A valley of crops surely grow
Family and friends all met up at a show
NorthFolk playing Alma Mater
Joel and Kylene friends once removed
In their stomping ground I see them
Of course It’s a small world
Kelly and Erin and some girl from Frisco
David and Jon and some drummer named Mike
Sevilla and San Diego and some snow in GR
It’s good to be home and with friends and some “stars”
Green cutting, scissors, knives, augurs, and chippers
Learning of a trade, a business, a life not my own
I love it, I need it, to see more of this world
It’s great to have cousins in this place far from home
